Hello Family and Friends. New Years here went really well. We were asked to stay in from 6pm on New Years Eve because it is crazy with people, fireworks, bombs, drinking, you get the picture. It was fun. We played Monolopy and i was killed. Then yesterday we had our Festa di lavoro which means deep cleaning all day and we cant go outside our apartment. Most people hate festa di lavoro but i didnt mind it. I like it. I cleaned the bathroom and I infested it full of 5 different cleaners so now it is spotless... as much as an italian apartment can be. You should have seen the stuff i was cleaning. Lets just say that my sponges were totally black when i was finished. I went through 7! Yeah, i know! After we played Monopoly and Phase 10. I didnt play monopoly but i did play Phase 10, and it was really fun. We still havent finished our game but the two elders who have never played are winning, but we will see what happens. I was being easy last night, trying to give them a chance! :)! Who am i kidding, i was playing so hard that when i was skipped and didnt finish my phase... it got brutal. I was super fun. I am loving it here. I have realized a lot about myself. I am growing a lot because i am relying on the Lord rather than myself. Remember to never counsel with the Lord but to take counsel from His hand and you will always be happy. He knows the best for us. I often forget this, but i need to remember it.
