I want to share a chapter that i have been reading in the Book of Mormon, Alma 26. I love this chapter. I love the whole story of Alma and the Sons of Mosiah! What incredible missionaries they were. The part i want to share with you all is the importance of adversities and trials. Each of these missionaries needed these. Each convert needed trials and challenges so that their faith and testimony grew. The same goes with us. And once we overcome our trials and challenges we get to a peaceful, happy state and we see success such as helping others lives, seeing the hand of God in our lives, baptisms, great joy seeing others brought to the knowledge of God. But... more trials and challenges await. And once we work on those we grow even more and come to an even greater knowledge of the goodness of God. The point of the story is too never give up and know that God is always there to support us. Things wont be perfect but we cant settle for that. We must keeping working hard and we will see success. I love the story of the Anti-nephi-lehis. The conversion of all those people started with one man, Ammon and his desire to serve Lamoni a wicked king, but a child of God that was prepared by the Lord. From his service and teachings Lamoni was converted, his court, his father, his father's kingdom and half of the Laminite nation. I love the gospel. I know that it is true. Let us all get rid of our selfish desires and serve our brothers and sisters who are miserable and are not filled with the happiness that we are. Love, Elder Beau Richard Brewster
