Hello to everyone! I love this new city. I love the people and our great members. We have a missionary couple here from England, the wilkeys. We spent our pday with them and we dont have much time left so here is a letter that i wrote to Brother Lindsay who is a councilor at the MTC for the italian missionaries. He wanted me to write him to tell the missionaries some success stories to get them excited and help them believe that it is possible to baptize in Italy. It is tough. Traditions have a huge influence on this people but not on everyone. We have to find the elect that God is preparing for us. He really is and we have to believe it. Brother Lindsay, Tell the missionaries to give it all of their heart. We are not called to teach only to those who will accept. We are to teach to everyone! It is possible to baptize. Yes, it is difficult but not impossible. I have not had a baptizm yet but i have had thousands and thousands of miracles. I have blessed many lives. I have had 3 baptismal dates and i will have a baptism. I have a great friend in Ostia (rome 4) who was baptized exactly a year ago. She had a friend that is a member and that gave her a book of mormon. She met with the missionaries and a month later she was baptised. After reading the book of mormon for the first time she wanted to be baptized, but needed to wait. I am now in Battipaglia where we have a new convert Speranza who was baptized by Elder Welch last December 22nd. She found the church by her ex boyfriend, started taking the lessons out of curiosity, came to english class and the weekly activity and church. She had a contact 3 times a week and found the truthfulness and joy. She has given up so many things and has had many trials but nothing holds her down. I hope this helps. There would be more baptisms if all of the missionaries had more faith and desired the salvation of the people of italy. Tell them that they can do it and will do it but they must be dedicated and forget about themselves. I hope to train one of them and if i do i gaurantee that we will have a baptism. I love this gospel. I know that it is true. Love, Elder Brewster
